IPC-7711/7721 certification Specialist

Rework of electronic assemblies - Certified IPC Specialist

The course would be of interest to all companies who have realized that the competitive capacity can be significantly increased when the replacement of components is managed by highly qualified employees. Further more, it will be possible for the companies to document traceability of rework.

After having passed a test an IPC Specialist certificate will be issued for each participant. The certificate is valid for two years.


Among other things the following will be focused on:

  • Product classifications, skill levels, tools and materials
  • Handling electronic assemblies
  • Wire splicing procedures
  • Basic surface mount and through hole component removal
  • Land preparation and component installation
  • Primary heating methods: conductive, convective, etc.
  • Through hole component removal and installation
  • Chip and MELF rework procedures
  • SOIC/SOT, J-lead and QFP rework
  • Inspection according to IPC-A-610
The certification courses in rework are designed for operators, constructors/designers, engineers in quality etc. There are no admission requirements but the participants should have experience with soldering techniques.




Price per participant: DKK 13.000 including course materials, refreshments and lunch.
