Having implemented IPC-A-610 as the standard for approval, it is important that companies also implement the productionengineering IPC standard J-STD-001. This creates conformity between end productrequirements and the production processes involved in the manufacture of theproduct.
The course will go through the requirements formanufacture in accordance with J-STD-001.
The participants will be qualified to deliver andadminister company internal training of operators, who have the dailyresponsibility for daily production - be it manual or automated solderingprocesses. The program is using the method of ”training the trainer”.
During the course both the theoretical and practicalrequirements in J-STD-001 will be covered.
A certificate will be issued upon completion of both atheoretical and a workmanship test (hand soldering test). The certificate as aCertified IPC Trainer (CIT) grants access to online IPC training material touse in the training of Certified IPC Specialists (CIS) and it is valid for twoyears.
Please note! To qualify for renewal, a CIT shall conduct at least one (1) IPC CIS coursea year. The CIT must train a minimum of 5 CIS candidates during theirtwenty-four-month certification period.
