IPC-A-610 is a theoretical course that can strengthen productivity and competitiveness in a time where customers require manufacturing to be performed in accordance with IPC’s internationally acclaimed standards.

The participants will learn how to perform objective assessments for product approval and rejection in accordance with IPC-classifications1, 2 and 3.

The foundation of the course is IPC- A-610, 'Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies'.

In this trainer course the participants are trained and certified as CIT (Certified IPC Trainers) who are qualified to perform company internal training of operators (Certified IPC Specialists - CIS). These operators will be assessing approval-, rejection- and process indication-limits within the three classifications in the IPC-A-610 standard.

After completing and passing the theoretical test, a certificate will be issued that is valid for two years – and access to online instruction material for the training of CIS will be granted.

Please note! To qualify for renewal, a CIT shall conduct at least one (1) IPC CIS course a year. The CIT must train a minimum of 5 CIS candidates during their twenty-four-month certification period.

·      Tests in knowledge and understanding of the requirements in the standard, and IPC policies and procedures in general

The course is aimed at production engineers, quality assurance engineers, designers and trained operators, who need to document their knowledge of instructing operators in accordance with IPC-A-610 specifications.
