IPC/WHMA-A-620 has been developed to support the segments of the electronics industry that work with crimped and soldered wire assemblies and securing wire harnesses.
To be competitive, it is important to ensure the required level of quality as well as profitable and efficient productivity. This can be achieved by ensuring that operators are familiar with and comply with IPC/WHMA-A-620 and its requirements.
On this certification course participants learn to make an objective assessment of approval and rejection criteria according to IPC classifications 1, 2 and 3. Passing the mandatory theoretical exam, they will become Certified IPC Specialists and will receive a certificate that is valid for two years.
The certification is based on IPC/WHMA-A-620, 'Requirements and Acceptance for Cable and Wire Harness Assemblies'.
